Day 7 - what is your dream job

As a child, I believe that my dream job was to be the Incredible Hulk. since I found out that was not possible, the next best thing would be a Marine. so there I was in my dream job all the way up until I got married. if the Marine Corps wanted you to have a wife and a child they would issue them in boot camp. needless to say it was no longer my dream job. Then I found the oil field, and I believe that this is most likely the best dream job for me and my family.

Day 6 - what is the hardest thing you've ever experienced

I would have to say that the hardest thing I've ever experienced is... chronological.
I suppose I will begin with looking at my motorcycle after it slid under a semi and was in little bitty pieces. moving on, watching my wife in labor and knowing there was nothing I could do about it. then a little bit later, I suffered severe withdrawals from drugs and alcohol.  on down line, watching my wife have seizures and knowing she could die at any minute. that's really hard on me. my daughter had to go into surgery for a ruptured appendix, she was crying and terrified. My wife and I weren't able to go into the OR with her. We were unable to help her and completely powerless s she was wheeled away. being laid off was pretty hard on me. so I guess you can take your pick.

5. Last but not least coffee
well that is all for now I should be caught up and I will try to keep up for the rest of the 30 days talk to you later.

catch up

OK, I'm a couple days behind, so...

Day 2 - List 3 legitimate fears and why:

Well, I've thought about it quite a bit, and I can only think of one fear that I have. I am afraid of buffaloes. I was young and dumb, and didn't listen to anyone about anything. So when my grandfather warned me about buffaloes on a trip to Yellowstone, of course I didn't take heed to his words. I had gotten a camera for my birthday, and I wanted a picture of a buffalo. I found a lone adolescent buffalo standing around all by himself. Here was my chance... I moved a little closer, picked up my camera, looked through the lense, then moved a little closer.
Did you know that a buffalo has an invisible circle around him that everything in that circle belongs to him? Well, they do; and they want to destroy anything (or anyone) who comes in that circle.
As you can probably tell, I found this out the hard way. I kept getting closer until he stomped his foot and charged toward me. Luck was on my side and there was a tree within my grasp, and up I went. I then ended up staying about 15 feet from the ground in the tree for the next 2 1/2 hours until he decided to go away. I have convinced myself that if I hadn't been able to get up that tree, that he would have eaten me. Worst part? I didn't even get the picture.

Day 3 - What is the greatest amount of physical pain you have endured:

That is easy... I got a vasectomy. No, that is not the most pain... My daughter was just old enough to be climbing and jumping, and running around everywhere. well, after the surgery, I went home.
Doctor said, "when you get home, put ice on it. Here is a prescription for the pain."
I heard, "If it starts to hurt, put ice on it"
No... He meant "GO HOME AND PUT ICE ON IT NOW!!!"
Anyway, back to the pain story... I was sitting on the couch watching TV while my loving wife went to the store to fill my prescription and get a few groceries. about the time that I started to feel a little pain, and found out that i couldn't stand and walk (because everything kinda tightened up down there.) My beautiful angel of a daughter had climbed up on the arm of the couch and jumped... into my lap... planting her heels, one on each side, right into my giblets. Next thing I know, I'm face down on the floor crying like a little girl.... once I caught my breath.

Day 4 - List 5 things you would tell your 16 year old self, if you could

refer to day 2... I would not have listened to myself anyway... and... I like the way everything turned out; therefore, why would I want to change anything.

30 day challenge - Day 1

OK, since I'm not good at blogging on a regular basis, I am attempting the 30 day blog challenge. Day 1 is to list 10 random facts about myself. so here goes:
 1- I collect knives
2- My room needs to be really cold in order for me to sleep well.
3- I have a cat and don't mind the fact that he is a carnivore. In other words, I don't care if he hunts, kills and devours baby bunnies on my front porch or anyone else's.
4- I work in Libya (it is one of the nicest places I have worked in. and by far the safest!)
5- I don't type properly.
6- I make great pork chops.
7- I ALWAYS think before I speak.
8- I am an extremely patient man.
9- I've done all of my own piercings.
10- I have been all over the world and have not been able to find anything too spicy for me to eat.

Coming up tomorrow... List 3 legitimate fears and why are you afraid of them. Stay tuned...
